Coming hot on the heels of Alimodu Sheriff storming the PDP secretariat to take control of affairs of the party, aggrieved youths under the aegis of PDP National Rebirth Group and PDP Concerned Rescue Group invaded the Secretariat and sacked Alimodu Sheriff.
The youths went ahead to seal off the premises and then seized the keys which they handed over to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT), Senator Walid Jibrin.
The youths were clearly in support of the chairman of the PDP care-taker committee, Ahmed Makarfi being in charge of the affairs of the party as opposed to the divisive Sheriff.
It would be recalled that the caretaker Committee through their spokesman Dayo Adeyeye branded Sheriff as an agent of the APC bent on destroying PDP.
