A man has been arrested for raping a 6-year-old year and infecting her with gonorrhea.
Daniel Prieto, 38, has been jailed without bail after a judge declared him a danger to the community on Thursday in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
Prieto admitted to having a sexual relationship with the 6-year-old girl numerous times while they were alone recently. He also admitted that he forced her to perform oral sex on him.
The young girl told workers at a child advocacy center that Prieto told her ‘to keep a secret’ because he would be in trouble if she told anyone about the alleged abuse, which she did.
The case only came to light when the girl went missing on February 8, but was later found 90 minutes later.
The girls mother then informed police that medical reports showed that she and her daughter both tested positive for gonorrhea. When asked about her sexual activities, the mother noted that the only sexual contact she had in the last several years was with Prieto.
Prieto disclosed to police men that he forced the 6-year-old girl to engage in sexual intercourse and oral sex.

Prieto has since been charged with rape of a child, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault of a child, involuntary deviant sexual intercourse with a child and corruption of minors.
