Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has applauded the performance of vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi in last night’s Vice Presidential debate.
Fani-Kayode took to his verified Twitter handle on Saturday morning to heap praise on Obi, who he said did “a great job”.
However, Fani-Kayode accused Vice President Yemi Osinbajo of lying throughout the duration of the debate.
In the same vein, the controversial ex-minister said the other three participants – Ganiyu Galadima of ACPN, Umma Getso of YPP and Khadijah Abdullahi of ANN – were nothing but an ” embarrassing and distasteful joke”.
Fani-Kayode, a PDP chieftain, said: “I commend Peter Obi for knocking the others for six and doing a great job in last nights Vice Presidential debate. Prof Yemi Osinbajo fudged and lied his way through the whole thing whilst the other 3 participants were nothing but an embarrassing and distasteful joke. #2019Debate.”
