Peter Olayinka Delighted to Make Comeback for Crvena Zvezda After Injury Layoff

Nigeria international Peter Olayinka has expressed his joy after making a successful return to action for Serbian giants Crvena Zvezda following a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to injury.
The 27-year-old forward underwent surgery and was out of action for several weeks, but made his comeback in Crvena Zvezda’s 3-1 win over Mladost Lucani last weekend.
Olayinka came off the bench in the 86th minute, replacing Pape Cherif Ndiaye, and made an immediate impact by providing a well-timed assist for Bruno Duarte’s goal in the closing moments of the match.
Celebrating his return, the former Slavia Prague star shared his excitement on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), writing: “My comeback is always stronger, I am delighted to be back.”
Olayinka joined Crvena Zvezda in 2023 and has become a key figure in the squad. His return comes as a major boost for the Serbian champions as they continue their domestic and continental campaigns.
