Petrol Can Not Keep Selling For N145 Per Litre – Fuel Marketers

On Tuesday Fuel marketers revealed that it was not possible for them to buy exported Premium Motor Spirit at the control price of N145 per litre. The marketers also said they were not the reason for the scarcity of fuel in Nigeria.

Dapo Abiodun The Chairman of Depot and Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, in a meeting between representative’s of the Federal Government headed by Abba Kyari Chief of Staff to the President, and stakeholders in the oil industry revealed this information.

The meeting included heads of the Department of State Services as well as Nigerian Immigration service and paramilitary services, it held at the Old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Abiodun stated that “neither the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation nor the independent marketers could be blamed for the recent fuel scarcity.”
