Petroleum Pricing Committee Recommends Petrol Price Hike to N140

The Petroleum Product Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) has advocated for an upward review in the price of petrol from 121.50 to N140.

The Agency said the petrol retail band for a litre of petrol will now be between N140.80 and N143.80.

Although the agency is yet to give details of the new change in price it is speculated that this move is as a result of the suspension of subsidy payments on petroleum products in  the country.
