According to popular blogger Linda Ikeji, a Danfo driver died on Sunday the 22nd of May in the Igando area of Lagos state after getting into a fight with a police officer.
Linda Ikeji reports that an eyewitness said that the policeman had stopped the Danfo driver and was attempting to extort him.
When the driver refused to pay, the policeman dragged him from the bus and started to assault him.
While assaulting him, the driver fell into a gutter, hit his head on the edge and died instantly.
It’s unknown what happened to the police officer thereafter.
