Otunba Gbenga Daniel, the former governor of Ogun state has a physically challenged son by the name of Debola Irede Daniel. Debola is a Masters Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering from the University College London.
He proposed to is girlfriend Tasha and it was an absolutely romantic gesture.
Soon after, he took to his Instagram to thank his friends and everyone who helped him pull it off. He captioned the post;
“ENGAGEMENT! So last night I asked my best friend and my closest confidant to spend the rest of her life with me and she said YES!
“@tash_loves I love you more than words can ever describe. You’ve shown me what love is and it’ll be an honour to spend the rest of my life with you.
“I’m getting married! Massive thank you to @ben__ben_ @tolaolu @kenny.d for helping me plan such a beautiful evening. Also thank you to @gtdaguitarman and @wanri_simpson. You guys are the best.”
He revealed that he was diagnosed at age 5 with paraplegia- a rare condition with no medical clarity.
He added that upon attaining maturity, he realised that his future was in his hands and that no medical condition could stop him from doing what he set out to do once he set his mind to it.
