The United States president, Barack Obama and his family hosted dozens of American celebrities at the White House who all partied until about 4:00am in the morning.
The party held at the White house to bade the Obamas farewell had in attendance stars including Rapper Wale, Kelly Rowland, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend.
Other stars present at the party include: Meryl Streep, Al Sharpton, Tyler Perry, Chris Rock, David Letterman, Tom Hanks, Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder.
Also present at the event were Jay Z and his wife, Beyonce along with actor Terrence J, film producer Will Packer, singer Jordin Sparks, TV personality La La Anthony, Bruce Springsteen, Eddie Vedder, and Oprah Winfrey.
The party according to report was strictly VIP and guests were barred from recording the inside of the party where the First lady of the United States, Michelle and her husband, Barack served chicken and waffles.

Obama is expected to fly to Chicago in the new week where he will be handing over to the United States president-elect, Donald J. Trump.
