Last night was the official book launch of Toke Makinwa’s new book, “On Becoming”, which is a biographical revelation of much that had happened to her in the past year, and how she has grown from that point.
Toke, who filed for divorce from her ex-husband Maje Ayida in 2015, revealed details of all that transpired in her marriage in her new book. She talked about the break ups, make ups, how she contemplated suicide as well as her healing process.
The star studded event had in attendance Hon. Abike Dabiri, Mo Abudu, Annie Idibia, 2baba, Stephanie Coker, Arese Ugwu, Simi, Lilian Afegbai, Bolanle Olukanni, D’banj, Ebuka, and many others.
Rocking a lovely white dress from Style Temple, the media personality looked absolutely gorgeous at the launch.
