Days after he ran into Asiwaju Bola Tinubu at the Akure Airport, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has visited immediate-past President Goodluck Jonathan at his home in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.
Atiku, who has declared his intention to contest for the 2019 presidency, was accompanied on the trip by Otunba Gbenga Daniel, who is the Director General of his campaign organisation.
Jonathan and Atiku are both members of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Recall that Atiku contested the 2011 presidency against Jonathan and lost.
