PHOTOS: Atletico Madrid Players Arrive In Nigeria for Friendly

The Europa league winners touched down in Uyo last night via the Akwa-Ibom airport and they will take on Nigeria’s B team in a friendly at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

The competition, the GOtv MAX Cup, will pit Salisu Yusuf’s men against the former La Liga champions on Tuesday (today).

Fernando Torres and Jan Oblak are two of the more famous names that have come to Nigeria for the friendly and this tie marks the first time Atletico will be visiting the West African country.

The match is set to kick-off at 6pm but the gates will be open at 11am.
