Under fire senator, Dino Melaye was recently admitted into the Police Hospital in Abuja. He had surrendered to the Nigerian Police willingly on January 4th. However, the need for his admission occurred moments after he was arrested as he suddenly slumped at the police headquarters. According to the police, Melaye is facing the charges of attempted murder. The act was said to have been carried out by the senator and his thugs against a police officer back in July 2018. Although he bluntly denied the accusation, he has since remained under custody.
