Photos: The Five Fulani Herdsmen Allegedly Responsible for Nimbo Attack

A few weeks ago, a midnight attack left at least 20 people dead in Nimbo community in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area, Enugu State.

It was reportedly the work of daring and merciless Fulani Herdsmen. There was public outcry and promises that the perpetrators would be caught and brought to justice.

It seems that time is now.

Five suspects namely Mohammed Zurai, Ciroma Musa, Sale Adamu, Suleiman Laute and Haruna Laute have been arrested by the police in relation to that horrific crime.

In a statement made by police spokesperson, Olabisi Kolawole, the Inspector General’s Intelligence Response Team (IRT) were able to make the arrests based on credible intelligence.

They were also able to recover important evidence for the case which was in this case  a memory card from a Gionee L88 that contains a video recording of the massacre in the community.
