PHOTOS: Freed Tegina Pupils Arrive Niger Govt House

Governor Sani Abubakar Bello of Niger State on Friday received the pupils of Salihu Tanko Islamiyya School, Tegina in Rafi LGA that were freed by their captors on Thursday.

The reception, which was witnessed by some of the parents of the abducted pupils, took place at the Government House, Minna.

Recall that the victims were abducted by gun-wielding bandits on May 30.

However, 130 pupils were dumped around Birnin-Gwari town in Kaduna State at about 7.30 p.m. on Thursday.

Six of the victims were said to have died of colds, malnutrition and fever.
