The Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar threw an amazing wedding for his son Tony who got married to his sweetheart Whitney in a blockbuster wedding in Dubai.
Everyone from Senator Ben Bruce to comedian AY was in attendance
The wedding took place at the Madinat Jumeriah luxury hotel and from the photos and videos shared online, it told the tale of an incredibly classy wedding that was all the things one would want a destination wedding to be.
Atiku has been on a rescue mission for his image which according to him has been much maligned by enemies. This has in his opinion affected his chances of contesting for the Presidency– a position he is very much interested in.
It has been largely alleged that former President Obasanjo, whom Atiku famously had a falling out with, was largely responsible for the assassination of Atiku’s character.
According to Thisday Live, a close source to him said; “Aware of the implication of tackling this matter head on this time around, we decided Atiku should make deliberate efforts to disabuse the minds of the people, particularly, the international opinion moulders, whose views could affect his chances,”
