The Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje, and the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II, met and prayed together at the Eid ground in the ancient city today.
Recall that Ganduje recently split the vast Kano Emirate into five, in a move believed to be targeted at the vocal Emir.
Also, the meeting came barely 24 hours after a panel constituted by the state government accused the Emir of misappropriation funds to the tune of N3.4 billion.
