Lagosians on Twitter have begun to complain about the return of petrol tankers on some roads and bridges around Lagos. This comes as a shock for many as the bridges and roads had been cleared some days back, towards the preparation for Buhari’s visit to the state.
Many road users were glad that the dangers posed by the tankers had been eradicated. However, their return has thrown many into a state of worry again. See some of the reactions below.
Before you complete saying Jack Robinson… BOOM! The Tankers, Trailers and Trucks are BACK on Western Avenue road, Surulere, Lagos State.
Yes, those dreaded articulated vehicles are back on 'Lere's major link road a day after President Muhammadu Buhari visited the state. 1/

As at 6.25pm yesterday, the tankers are back on Eko bridge as usual.@MBuhari ,the only ONE human who is more important than the 21million people living in Lagos has come and gone. So it's okay to keep living with the mess.Don't oversleep tomorrow and think the road will be free
