There was trouble in Kano as angry youths took to the streets in a violent protest against their lawmakers burning and destroying property.
They even went as far as burning down the house and seizing the property of their representative in the Senate, Kabiru Gaya in the process.
The violent protest which took place in Gaya Local Government area of Kano State was in respect to what the youths called broken promises.
The angry mob was of the opinion that the electoral promises of water, electricity, jobs and roads remain unfulfilled.
