Spanish midfielder, Denis Suarez has joined Arsenal from Barcelona on a season-long loan.
The North London club announced on Monday that the 25-year-old would wear the number 22 shirt, following in the footsteps of the likes of Oleg Luzhny, Gael Clichy and Yaya Sanogo.
“One thing no one knows about me is that when I was little and I used to watch the Premier League on TV, Arsenal were a team that really inspired me,” Suarez said about his move.
He identified Thierry Henry, who also played for Barcelona, and Dennis Bergkamp as his Arsenal heroes.
