Photos: Residents offer muddy table water to politicians -

Some Kenyans in Marsabit county have demonstrated a hilarious gesture towards politicians who visited their community.

Yesterday, they organized a meeting with their leaders and served them with dirty water inside plastic bottles. The decision to carry out such an act was because the so-called elders had refused to provide good water for residents in the county.

They waited for the politicians to have their sits, start the meeting before some women stepped out to serve the muddy table water as the refreshment they had for them.

Although the leaders acted like they had no knowledge of what was being served, there was no way they wouldn’t have seen the content as the women ensured they placed them in noticeable positions.

Residents of the county were perplexed that their perennial water problem still lingered and no political leader has been able to proffer a way out of the mess. It was reported that water being used to bath, cook, and wash, is nothing near hygienic, hence, the Karate residents had to reveal the kind of water they drink in their community.
