PHOTOS: Troops Neutralise Dozens Of ISWAP Fighters In Borno

Dozens of Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters were on Friday night dispatched to the great beyond by troops of the Nigerian Army around Kalage-Rann axis of Borno State.

It was learnt that the soldiers recovered weapons including 12 AK 47 rifles and a gun truck.

The operation that led to the killing of the insurgents occurred on the same day that the new Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Maj.-Gen. Farouk Yahaya officially resumed duties.
