Victor Osimhen has revealed the reason why he ditched Arsenal and went for German side, Wolfsburg.

In a monitored interview with Sports Radio yesterday, the 17 year old also spoke about his one on one discussion with Wolfsburg manager Dieter Hecking which led to his decision.

“For now, I’m picking Wolfsburg over Arsenal because we have been in Germany throughout the past week and the German team gave us an amazing tour of their facilities and I also had a one on one discussion with first team manager Hecking who told me about his plans for me” Osimhen said after asked which of the two aforementioned team is on a higher scale on his mind at the moment.

The interview also bared open issues on Osimhen representations after his father Patrick Osimhen distant himself from a member of the family who has been peddling rumors about the future of the minor.

Patrick Osimhen blames his brother ‘Emmanuel’ for the imbroglio in the media over the destination of the youngster disclosing exclusively to footballlive.ng that the only person the family has given legal permit to entertain Agents is Chinedu Ogbenna; the youth Coach of Victor Osimhen.

“When Victor got the opportunity to try with the Golden Eaglets and had to be flown from Lagos to Abuja, I personally handed him over to his youth Coach at Synergy Ultimate Striker since 2014. It was a legal mandate and I have told all those who have come to speak of his transfer that I can only entertain such meetings if Chinedu (Ogbenna) was present.”

The U-23’s striker father also confirmed that no attempt was made on his life and he was never attacked by hoodlums as widely reported.
