With a plot with more twists than a labyrinth, the story of Apostle Suleman and his alleged mistress, Stephenie Otobo has come to the fore again.

In a new video released online, Ms. Otobo claims that the now viral video in which she went to apologize to Apostle Suleman claiming to have been misguided by some powerful politicians, was as a result of severe pressure from the cleric.

The video, published by Sahara Reporters on Tuesday, featured Ms. Otobo, predicting the confession video.

The video was recorded on June 21, 2017, by Canada-based Worship Media and goes on for 9 minutes.

In the video she said, “He is telling me to come and make a video to lie that it’s the government of Nigeria that is putting me up to this,” she said in the video. “I don’t know when you’ll be watching this but I’m just doing this video for the future. Today’s date is the 21st of June, 2017,”

The confession video featured Ms. Otobo claiming that she was forced by enemies of Apostle Suleman to lie against him. After this she then apologized to Suleman and was forgiven. Now she claims the apology was gained under duress.

According to news outlet Premium Times, Ms. Otobo’s lawyers claimed that they know nothing about either video.

“We have not been able to get through to her and we don’t know what is happening. I think it calls for concern,” Mr. Afeiyodion, a lawyer at Festus Keyamo Chambers said.
