Police in Delta killed a suspected armed robber in a gun duel in Sapele on Saturday.

Police spokesman, DSP Edafe Bright, told newsmen on Sunday in Warri that the suspect, known as Diamond or “Fowlboy’’, was member of a three-man gang terrorising residents of Amukpe Community in Sapele.

Bright said that the Divisional Police Officer, Sapele Division, CSP Harrison Nwabuisi, received a distress call on Saturday that robbers were operating in the house of a resident in Amukpe.
