The Lagos State Police Command says it has nabbed two robbery suspects, Samuel Akabueze, 31, and Onuoha Joshua, 37, along Akowonjo Road in Alimosho local government area of the state.
In a statement, the command said that operatives of the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad (RRS) arrested the suspects inside a Lexus Jeep marked LSD 666 GK.
According to the statement, the RRS operatives recovered a locally made gun with 2 rounds of ammunition as well as Ecobank and Access Bank ATM cards.
“The 2 arrested suspects confessed to belong(ing) to a 3-man robbery gang that specializes in snatching vehicles and robbing innocent motorists during traffic across Lagos,” the statement read.
