Bayelsa Governorship elections took place last Saturday. A police officer was seen washing his uniform in a ballot box that was used during the elections.
One of the Police Officers who worked during the Bayelsa Elections on Saturday was caught on camera washing his uniform inside a ballot box, in the premises of the state’s Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)

The Police Officer who was redeployed to Bayelsa state from Lagos said he he had no choice. Speaking with The Cable , “We will still stay after the result has been announced. The last lap of our job is to ensure there is no post election violence”
