The police in Ondo has arrested one Mrs Babalola who killed her own daughter Testimony Babalola, in Akure.
Herald Nigeria had earlier reported that four-year-old Testimony was beaten to death by her parents last week Wednesday for possessing evil spirits.
She had been confirmed dead by the doctor, but Babalola fled with the lifeless body of the girl, apparently to escape prosecution.

However, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr. Femi Joseph, said on Wednesday that Babalola had been arrested, adding that the police is hunting for the father, who is still at large.
He said , “We arrested the wife on Monday, but we are yet to arrest the father. But I can assure you that he will soon be arrested. Our investigation is still ongoing.”
