The Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 2 command, Adamu Ibrahim, MNI has ordered policemen to stop the act of stopping and arresting people for using vehicles with tinted glass.
The latest directive was made known in a message relayed by the Zonal Police P.R.O, SP Dolapo Badmus while speaking with Linda Ikeji’s Blog.
The Police spokesperson noted that no police officer is entrusted with the right to arrest anyone for using tinted glasses adding that they have been directed to stop the demand for renewal of tinted permit.
The police spokesperson however advised the public to ensure that they get the non renewable tinted glass permit.
