Report says Pinto is linked to the Football Leaks portal.

According to reports, he faces various charges in connection with the information he leaked on financial dealings of European football clubs, including blackmail.

Football Leaks also exposed alleged plans for a European Super League.

The 31-year-old was arrested in Budapest in January and subsequently, extradited to Portugal.

He is said to be willing to cooperate with authorities, remain under police supervision and not have access to the internet.

Pinto’s lawyers maintain he is a whistleblower, a status rejected by Portuguese authorities who say he did not act in good faith.
