The Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari via his social media account on Twitter has condemned the killing of an Igbo trader in Kano over alleged blasphemous comment.
The woman who was a trader in Kano until her death was reported to have been murdered in front of her husband.
Buhari while addressing the sad occurrence described the killing as “sad and regrettable” he further added: “Let us learn to respevt each other’s faith, so that we can know each other and live together in peace”.
The last statement however did not go down well with Nigerians on Social media as most erupted with anger while condemning the president’s approach.
