President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the Emir of Ringim, Alhaji Sayyadi Ringim, on his outstanding achievements of his reign in the past 25 years.
The congratulation message is contained in a statement issued by the president’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu.
According to the statement, Buhari joins the people of Jigawa State and other Nigerians in celebrating the Emir’s outstanding achievements.
“On the momentous occasion of the Silver Jubilee of the Emir of Ringim, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Sayyadi Mahmud Ringim, President Muhammadu Buhari joins the people of Jigawa State and other Nigerians in celebrating the outstanding achievements of his reign.’’
President Buhari noted that in the 25 years of his enlightened and energetic leadership, the Emir had won the affection and respect of the people of, not only his own Kingdom but the country as a whole.
“I have shared with the Emir a passion for education and the pursuit of happiness and the prosperity of the people of Nigeria.
“He is a visionary who has a good understanding of the issues in national economy and development.
According to him, the country will continue to cherish his wisdom and advice “as we make efforts to steer the economy towards self-reliance.”
The President wished the Emir many more years of service to the people of Ringim, Jigawa State, and the nation as a whole.(NAN)
