Jamaican athlete, Usaain Bolt has been robbed of the graceful career end as he woukld have imagined after he came in third at the final individual race of his career.

The runner known for his signature jubilation and his running style failed to meet up with expectations from fans after he came in third in the 100-meter dash at the World Track and Field Championships in London.

The world’s fastest man seems to have lost his edge and the final race seems to be the prime where he should really have hung his racing shoes.

Howeveer, the sprinter still broke the ten seconds record by coming into the finish line at 9:95 although he was a hundredth of a second behind American Christian Coleman and three hundredths behind gold medalist Justin Gaitlin.

Gaitlin while thrilled to have won the event took a moment from his celebration to praise the ‘fastest man’ after the race.

He said: “We’re rivals on the track but in the warm-down area we still joke and have a good time.”

Speaking to BBC Sports, Gaitlin added: “The first thing he said to me is, ‘congratulations, you worked hard for this’. He said, ‘you don’t deserve the boos’ and I thanked him for inspiring me throughout my career.”
