The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, got married to former Hollywood actress Meghan Markle in a lovely ceremony last Saturday and the world is still getting over it.

The pair met in 2016 and it took just two years for them to get married.

Before Markle, Harry dated Chelsy Davy, a Zimbabwean businesswoman for about 7 years between 2004 and 2011.

Davy was present at the ceremony and she looked stunning and for the whole event she was courteous and cheerful.

But to get to that point, she had to have closure, therefore she allegedly placed a call to Prince Harry before the wedding telling him a final goodbye.

According to a report in Vanity Fair, Davy was in tears while speaking to Harry, a close source to the situation telling the magazine; “It was their final call, a parting call in which they both acknowledged Harry was moving on,

“Chelsy was quite emotional about it all, she was in tears and almost didn’t go to the wedding. In the end, she went and promised Harry she wouldn’t try and gatecrash the party.”

Despite their breakup, Harry and Davy have always seemed to be on friendly terms, she even attended the wedding of Prince William.

An insider speaking to E! News stated that Prince Harry felt a connection with Markle that he never felt with Davy; “Even with Chelsy, Harry didn’t feel this kind of spark,

“And they were together for years! Harry just knew immediately, from the moment he spent time with Meghan, that he wanted to be with her. It’s a simple case of meeting the right girl at the right time.”
