National President of the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN), Comrade Biobelemoye J. Josiah has urged the federal government to ignore calls for the privatization of the health sector because it will cause untold hardship.
Josiah said this while commissioning the union’s permanent secretariat located at Durumi, Abuja.
He explained that privatisation will cause untold hardship to millions of Nigerians. He said that those calling for privatisation are the ones that destroyed hospitals with corruption.
He also commended President Muhammadu Buhari’s anti-corruption crusade.
