A pro-Tinubu group, the South South Grassroot Door 2 Door 4 BAT, has urged the electorate in the geopolitical zone to turn out massively to vote in Saturday’s presidential election.
The group which comprises businessmen, serving special assistants and senior special assistants, former commissioners, House of Assembly members, local government chairpersons, and other government functionaries, actively monitored the campaign activities of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, which ended on Thursday in line with the Electoral Act 2022.
The group praised Tinubu for displaying high energy throughout his campaign across the 36 states of the federation and the federal capital territory, some of which he visited two or more times.
The group added that even critics of the APC flagbearer could not deny he ran an issue-based campaign.
South South Grassroot Door 2 Door 4 BAT expressed confidence that the former Lagos governor would display the same level of energy if elected to steer the nation’s affairs for the next four years.
The group recounted Tinubu’s giant strides in Lagos, maintaining that under his stewardship the state experienced unprecedented development that drew even governors of other states.
South South Grassroot Door 2 Door 4 BAT urged the electorate across the nation, especially in the oil-rich zone, to vote such a high achiever for a better Nigeria.
