The Archbishop of the Anglican Communion, Enugu Province, His Grace, Most Reverend Dr. Emmanuel Chukwuma, has issued a warning to President Muhammadu Buhari over his style of governance.
Dr Chukwuma stated this in a recent interview with journalists in Enugu state.
The Reverend said President Buhari was acting like a ‘military democrat,’ while advising that if care is not taken Buhari’s administration might not last.
The Archbishop said: “Mr President should know that he is the President of Nigeria, he should know that he is a civilian democrat, not a military democrat.
“He is operating a military democracy, and he is also exhibiting Islamic political militancy, that is what he is exhibiting.
“This will not augur well for this democracy, it may affect the democracy and it will crash. He should understand that this is not the way to get Nigeria united in a democracy.”
