Punch threatens to sue ThisDay, Sun, and Vanguard

Punch Newspapers has threatened to sue three other major newspapers in the country over ‘Fraudulent Advertorials’.

The affected newspapers are Vanguard, Sun and ThisDay, and the source of the conflict stems from an Advertorial carried by the three papers that reportedly utilized photoshopped Punch covers.

An anti-Jonathan group known as ‘Agents for Collective Transparency” placed the adverts in the Sun and other papers using a fake picture of Punch headlines which were anti-Jonathan and never actually published in the Punch.
