Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has reacted to the shoulder injury suffered by Liverpool star player, Mohamed Salah in last night’s UEFA Champions League final in Kiev.

The 32-year-old Spaniard had appeared to fall with his full body weight on Salah’s arm trapped under him in the 26th minute of the game.

A tearful Salah was substituted in the 31st minute of the encounter having suffered a shoulder injury that threatens to cut short his World Cup dream.

The Egyptian Football Association later confirmed that Salah has a ligament damage in his shoulder.

Football fans on social media were quick to knock Ramos for what appeared a deliberate attempt to get the 25-year-old Egyptian out of the clash.

But reacting after the game, Ramos said, “Sometimes football shows you it’s good side and other times the bad.

“Above all, we are fellow pros.

“Prompt recovery, Salah. The future awaits you.”

Real Madrid clinched its third straight and 13 overall UCL titles with a 3-1 victory over Liverpool.
