It has emerged that American rapper, DMX is in critical condition in hospital after overdosing on drugs.
According to a TMZ report, the rapper suffered a drug overdose, which triggered a heart attack, in his home on Friday night.
The report quoted some close associates of the 50-year-old as saying that he is in a “vegetative state”.
Doctors in the hospital in White Plains, New York, where the artiste is being treated, have reportedly warned that the rapper may not make it.

DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, has battled substance abuse over the course of many years and has been to rehab many times.
He was last in rehab in 2019, after serving a one-year sentence for tax evasion.
