Raunchy DELSU Lecturers Sacked By School Management

The Delta State University management has sacked six of its lecturers through a decision reached by the institution’s Governing Council.

The six lecturers were sacked for various offenses including sexual misconduct, extortion, leaking of examination questions, bribery and corruption and other offences.

The recommendation for the sack which takes effect immediately was given by the Senior Staff Disciplinary Committee of the university who indicted the lecturers for the various offences.

The sack was announced in the latest edition of the school’s bulletin which was issued by the management of the institution.

In the bulletin, the University management in a statement signed by the university’s registrar, Mr D. A. Urhibo, said: “This is to inform staff, students and other members of the University community that the under listed staff (names withheld) were disciplined by the University Governing Council for various offences at its 97th regular meeting held on Friday, 12th August, 2016.”

The University management finally used the medium to warn other lecturers engaging in the illicit act to take note and desist from such act which will not be condoned or pardoned.
