Real Madrid have broken through the 15 million followers barrier on Twitter.
Real is the first sports club to reach this figure.
@realmadrid’s 15 million followers is 600,000 more than the second most popular account and 1,700,000 more than third place.
Real Madrid joined Twitter in May 2008.
