Real Madrid’s president Florentino Perez believes the Los Blancos can still win all the top prizes this season including the Champions League.
Madrid are currently 9th on the La Liga table and have just sacked Julen Lopetegui and replaced him with Santiago Solari.
Perez says despite the upheaval that has gone on in the club, Madrid cannot be written off
“We’ve got a great squad which has proved that it’s capable of winning everything going,”
“I want to state that all of our targets for this season remain intact.
“We are experiencing one of the most extraordinary stages in the history of Real Madrid. We have to value this and what we are achieving.
“This team has won absolutely everything. We’ve managed to achieve a historic feat that’s practically impossible to repeat: lifting three Champions League crowns in a row and four in five seasons.”
Madrid sit 7 points behind league leaders Barcelona and with their win against Valladolid, thanks to Vinicius Junior, it seems like Madrid is getting back to things little by little.
