Recession has produced more prayer warriors – AGC pastor

The Senior pastor of the Assemblies of God’s Church (AGC) Nasarawa road Kaduna Rev. Dr Solomon Kasuwa has said that the present economic recession has forced many people to become prayer warriors interceeding for God’s intervention.

He opined however that the present recession is caused by Nigerians, stressing that as a country, God has blessed us with all the things that are being envied by other nations and we are suffering in the midst of plenty.

“Recession is a matter of time, it has however forced or made Nigerians to adjust their ways of lives, the recession will not last because the church is interceeding‎, recession has now raised many prayer warriors”.

Speaking to newsmen at a press conference preparatory to ‎their annual program overcomes rendevous 2017 tagged: Divine Sanitaion scheduled for March 12th- 19th in Kaduna, says President Muhammadu Buhari effort at repositioning the nation requires maximum support from all and sundry.

He said, Nigeria as the giant of Africa cannot afford to fail because it will affect other countries looking up to Nigeria.

On the looted funds, the clergy averred that those who have looted Nigeria treasure lack the fear of God, he therefore called on such people to desist and do the right thing and be sincere in all their doings.

Speaking on the President’s health condition, he expressed disappointment with those who wishing him dead, ‎stressing, “It is very wrong for people to be wishing their president death, Mr President. Will not die until it is his time. We need prayers for him to get well.

“You don’t even wish your enemy death, we wish our President quick recovery and for him to come. Back and fulfil his mandate‎, we are standing in the gap for him through prayers”.

On the renewed crisis in Southern Kaduna, he called on the people of the area to eschew violence, embrace peace and constructive dialogue that will end the recurring crisis.
