‘Reckless’ Trump Suffers Huge Blow In Presidential Race

Controversial Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump has suffered a huge blow in his bid to win the race to be the next President of the United States.

He has been deemed unfit to be President by fifty senior Republican national security officials,  going as far as to warn that he would be “the most reckless president in American history” if elected.

Among those who said they won’t vote for Republican nominee included former Homeland security chiefs, intelligence directors, senior presidential advisors and a former US trade representative. They all served under Republican presidents from Richard Nixon to George W. Bush.

“We are convinced that he would be a dangerous president and would put at risk our country’s national security and well-being,” they wrote in a statement published in The New York Times on Monday.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, the mogul suffered yet another setback when influential US Senator Susan Collins also joined the legion of people who would not support Trump.

“I will not be voting for Donald Trump for president. This is not a decision I make lightly, for I am a lifelong Republican. But Donald Trump does not reflect historical Republican values nor the inclusive approach to governing that is critical to healing the divisions in our country,” she said.
