The senator representing Kaduna Central senatorial district in the National Assembly, Sen. Shehu Sani, has described as a “tragedy” any attempt to remove Senate President Bukola Saraki.

The vocal senator made this known in a Thursday evening tweet via his verified Twitter handle.

According to the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) senator, Saraki could only be removed in two ways: in the imagination of the remover or by military force as adopted by former Russian President Boris Yeltsin during the 1993 Russian Constitutional Crisis.

Sani said, “The Senate President can only be removed in two ways; The first is by dreaming of it after a heavy Dinner; and the second way is by adopting the President Boris Yeltsin 1993 strategy on the Russian Parliament. The former is an illusion and the later will be a tragedy.”
