A former aide to President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has reacted to President Buhari’s assertion that Nigerian youths were lazy and this was why they do not have jobs.
Omokri disagrees and stated that Buhari was incompetent and not the youths.
President Buhari said this during a panel in London on Wednesday. According to him, Nigerian youths are uneducated and not ready to work, waiting to get everything for free without doing anything.
Omokri said that it was Buhari’s incompetence that led to the high rate of unemployment and that Nigerian youths are ready to work.
He said; “10 million jobs lost since 2015. It is not laziness that makes Nigeria’s youth jobless, it is Buhari’s incompetence that makes them jobless”.
“How many of Buhari’s children are gainfully employed? His son Yusuf is busy riding multimillion power bikes while the father insults us! It is what he ought to say about himself that he is saying about Nigeria’s youth”.
“Buhari is the one that does not want to work. What project has he initiated, started and completed in 3 years” ?
“ The only thing he knows how to do is blame and condemn! Jonathan gave youths #YouWIN. What has Buhari given youths besides sorrow, tears and blood” ?
