Nigerian African Giant, Burna Boy in yet another Twitter rant, which he posted last night, stated again that nobody asides Fela or his family members can lay claim to paving the way for him.
Earlier on, he became the subject of attack from people after declaring that he remains Nigeria’s best musician after late Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti.

A lot of people disagreed with him, many called Burna boy proud and to make matters worse, he unfollowed everybody on Instagram except his girlfriend, Stefflon Don.
Burna boy who revealed that he has gone through unspeakable things with his family since 2012 stressed that he is still standing his grounds on his opinion.

Recall that he lost the Best World Music Album trophy to Beninese ace singer, Angélique Kidjo, at the 62nd Grammy Award.
Burna Boy was nominated for the category for his ‘African Giant’ album alongside Altin Gun (Gece), Bokante and Metropole Orkest Conducted By Jules Buckley (What Heat), Nathalie Joachim With Spektral Quartet (Fanm D’ayiti) and Angelique Kidjo (Celia).
During her acceptance speech, Kidjo dedicated the award to Burna Boy and celebrated a new generation of African artists coming up to represent the continent.
