Following her escape from their hideout, one of the kidnapped RCCG pastors has revealed that they were kept in captivity by Fulani herdsmen.
Recall that five pastors from the church were, on Friday, abducted by some persons around the Ijebu Ode area of Ogun state.
Explaining her ordeal during a testimony session at RCCG’s minsters conference, the deaconess, Mrs. Chidinma Ibelegbu explained that she had prayed to God to make the kidnappers sleep off, and as soon as she discovered they were fast asleep, she quickly limped out of the camp.
Police officers were later able to rescue the other four clergymen through the report provided by the deaconess.
Her testimony further highlights the continued struggles with banditry at different parts of the country in recent times.
