I am not sure of the hustle that goes on in other part of Nigeria, but in Lagos–the hustle is real! Sometimes I pause and wonder how we take in all these. I have been to a few cities and because I live the Lagos life, they look lazy to me. But truth is don’t have to struggle the way we do here, story for another day.
Let us talk about things we could eat as we go on in the day that would enhance our crash to beauty sleep;

Fruits
It is everywhere you turn to on the streets, there is no excuse–just pick one that you like and munch on during the day. They contain natural sugar which will satiate you and prevent your sugar level from dropping through the night, making you sleep soundly.

Green tea
To be honest, I for one am not a great fan of green tea, but it has proven itself over and again. Stay away from tea or coffee as caffeine and tanin may disrupt your sleep pattern. So, green tea is a safe option because it contains thaine which promotes good sleep.

Eggs
These are a great source of minerals such as magnesium and potassium that aids good sleep. It also contains amino acids that is sleep inducing itself.
But remember too much of anything is bad, stick to one hard boiled egg per day.

Cashew nuts and almonds
Nuts, nuts, go nuts. Another good source of sugar and fiber, especially if you are diabetic. Nuts like almond and cashew are a great source of magnesium which promotes good sleep. But remember to stay away from the ones that has too much salt as it poses another health risk.

Oats
I love the fact that something that tastes so good has wonderful health benefits. Oats contain calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, silicon, and potassium, nutrients that promotes sleep at night and also satiate you for a longer time during the day thereby preventing you from taking junk.

Milk
Go the milky way. Aside from being a good source of antacid for heartburn or ulcer , it helps calm all those tensed up nerves and make you sleep deep.

Water
Finally, the only thing on the planet that probably doesn’t have an enemy. Aside from being a good source of antacid for heartburn or ulcer , it helps calm all those tensed up nerves and make you sleep deep.
